Just to end the day... i mean today...

hi ambaza...

Just to share or remind you all out there.

Today i have received two phising emails (email vudut biti ambaza), i think from hackers. The two email asked me the same thing, both asking me to update my account in maybank2u.com.my. What i want to share with you is when I called to maybank KL, i found out that it was a kind stealing information like username and password that allow them to steal my money (atagi tu okoniko ogumu takahon ong kanaik do minyak...hehehe) at later time. Maybank KL confirmed me that Maybank never send email.

There are two strange things in the emails I received: the first one was its http:// and the second one was its email address. (update@maybank2u.com..my). For actual maybank, its http:// must be https:// (got 's'), and the email address should not be ddouble dot in com..my (emot dikou ilot double dot....ong amu nga masa no mangagama dot paramato dati bo ambaza...hehehe)

So, please be careful when receive any message that asking you to update you particulars via email. It is not limited to maybank only because I did a simple study by calling a few banks for clarifying this issue, and none of the bank has the policy of sending email to customers. In other words, banks in Malaysia never sending meail for update.

good night....monop po.....
